What would Gerald Ford do about the shutdown?


When she was doing media related to the dry dock being flooded to float the U.S.S. Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78), an aircraft carrier named for the late President, the daughter of President Ford answered a question that nobody really wanted to know the answer to:

When asked what she thinks her father would say about what’s going on in Washington Susan Ford-Bales responded, “He would not tolerate it. He would learn how to walk across the aisle and learn how to make peace and do what’s best for the country. And he would be furious.”
