Mike Huckabee: I didn’t endorse Lindsey Graham

Mike Huckabee via HuckPAC:

To be clear, I haven’t endorsed Lindsey Graham for Senate. Last year, I voiced an ad thanking him for support of Israel. It was not an endorsement for his reelection. In fact, I don’t plan to endorse anyone in SC Senate race in the primary but I will certainly help in the general election if asked.

Obviously, Senator Graham’s people are using the “Thank you” ad and treating it like an endorsement, but neither the PAC nor I personally have endorsed in the South Carolina Senate race. Please help me by sharing this statement with your friends across South Carolina so voters understand where I stand. Thank you!

Previous reports indicated that Huckabee had endorsed Graham who faces primary opposition from Lee Bright, Bill Connor, Richard Cash, and Nancy Mace. A recent poll indicated Huckabee has a slight lead among potential 2016 candidates in South Carolina.

  1. I’m glad Gov. Huckabee cleared that up because hopefully 2014 will be the end of Grahamensty!

  2. I certainly hope this is true… As a South Carolinian, and one who is tired of seeing our RINO senior senator side with the libs on issue after issue, and disgusted that he is NEVER in his state to meet with his constituents, my former elevated opinion of Governor Huckabee had fallen to an all-time low after I read multiple reports that he had endorsed Flimsey Grahamnesty. I even stopped watching his television show. Couldn’t imagine how a man of his principles could be co-opted in to supporting a Senator who is contributing to the demise of what this country stands for.
