Open Secrets released their latest information on the richest members of both houses of Congress. If you look at their list, John Delaney has a net worth of somewhere between $65 million and $244 million for an average net worth of $154,601,580.
Other members of the Maryland delegation were farther down the list. Ben Cardin ranked 98th. Andy Harris came in at 185th. Dutch Ruppersberger was 209th. Elijah Cummings was 285th on the list. Barbara Mikulski ranks 389th. Rounding things out are John Sarbanes at 427th, Chris Van Hollen at 464th, Steny Hoyer at 486th, and Donna Edwards at 491st.
I have to wonder about some of the ones near the bottom. The max number seems a bit low for some of them. Maybe it’s the way things are calculated now.
