Weekend Wrap-Up, 5/5/14

I was a bit late with this wrap up due to news breaking this morning, including the O’Malley reddit AMA and a Supreme Court ruling.

Late Friday, I talked about a website put up by people opposing Baltimore County Councilman Todd Huff. Despite claiming on the site that they had nothing to do with his opponents, I noted that the two people behind the site are donors to the Democrat running for the seat.

I also noted a TMZ report of an alleged boycott underway against the Alaska State Fair due to members of the Duck Dynasty cast speaking there. However, as I pointed out, there was no real evidence of support for any such boycott.

Later that night, I noted prominent conservative blogger Jackie Wellfonder had withdrawn her support from the candidacy of Larry Hogan. Wellfonder is now supporting David Craig in the Republican primary for Governor of Maryland.

Saturday, I blogged about the GOP Gubernatorial Primary that morning on WBAL Radio. Be sure to listen to the debate audio embedded on my post.

I also wrote about John Leopold’s latest missive to The Baltimore Sun.
