Justin Fenton of The Baltimore Sun reports today on a robbery attempt that took place Thursday night in Patterson Park in Baltimore.
According to the article, four teenagers approached the man and one of them hit him in the face with a “medieval weapon” referred to as a “mace” or a “flail” in police and media reports.
They were trying to rob the victim for his cellphone and ended up running away after he chased them.
From Fenton’s article:
According to the report, the victim suffered a puncture under his right ear and jaw, resulting in swelling and bleeding. The victim’s cell phone was not taken during the attack.
